All artists – including photographers – are protected by copyright.

According to international copyright regulations, any kind of unauthorised use of any of my images is illegal – including using them as a reference for art.

As the author and sole copyright holder, I am the only person who may grant the copyright for the use of my images. Even if you find my images online or on social media without any © sign or my name on them, it is still illegal to use them without my consent.

Licensing rates for artists:

If you use my art to produce your art - I should be compensated too.​

The standard licensing fee for artists is £100 (British Pounds) and it grants the right to use the licensed image for one painting or drawing, regardless of the artwork selling price. You may use your artwork based on my image for self-promotion on any webpage and social media platforms.

The basic license does NOT allow you to make prints of the artwork or produce any kind of merchandise or products from it. To create any saleable item from the artwork based on my photograph, an extended license is required. The Extended License for artists is £300 (British Pounds) and it will allow you to produce fine art prints, merchandise, postcards and calendars with your artwork that is based on my fine art photographs.

You have the option to purchase a basic license for painting your masterpiece, and if you decide to produce any other materials later on, you can extend your license at any time by paying the price difference. However, it is important to note that you must extend your license BEFORE producing any additional materials, as licensing does not work retrospectively.
